DIY all-natural Deep Clean Green face mask

I know they say that good things come to those who wait…

But isn’t there just something so wonderful about instant gratification? To get what you want exactly when you want it?

Uh, yes please!

Which is why I love this DIY all-natural Deep Clean Green face mask: you get results FAST.

As in “put it on at night, and wake up the next day with fabulous skin” fast. And, as always, no nasties necessary!

The healing clays absorb impurities while apple cider vinegar, a great natural toner and antiseptic, balances the skin’s pH and dries any blemishes.

While I use the Blackhead Busting Blackout Mask on a regular basics, the Deep Clean Green mask is my go-to when times are especially tough and I need some backup.

Ingredients:

Directions:

Simply mix all of the ingredients together with a wooden spoon (or plastic) as metal will negate the effects of the bentonite clay, which absorbs metals. The mix will fizz a little when you add the apple cider vinegar. Apply the mask to clean skin with clean fingers, and let sit for about 10 minutes. Wash the mask off, gently pat your skin dry, and apply an all-natural moisturizer (I always use just jojoba oil at night).

Then go to sleep and have some sweet dreams, wake up in the morning and admire your beautiful skin!

  4. I have been using benonite clay masks for a while now but can NEVER get it to stir in very well. I am just using the benonite clay, water, and ACV. Does the Green Clay help to not clump? Any tips to getting it all to mix well…

Is this still effective if I don’t use the french green clay? I couldn’t find it at my local health food store.

Some people use just bentonite clay and water or ACV as a mask so sure!

Hi Nadiya, can you substitute bentonite with fullers earth? Can you do a small write up on properties of fuller’s earth. I have heard great things about it but some clear direction would help. Also, where do you buy the green French clay?
    Thank you!!

  12. […] This face mask works wonders and is so simple. While my instructions say to mix it with ACV, instead just put the dry ingredients in a 4 oz jar and include the instructions to a of the mix teaspoon with a teaspoon of water (for a more gentle mask) or ACV (for a tougher-acting mask). […]

Your recipes of essential oils for the skin are great! Could you share one that could be used for the under-eye area to tackle dark circles and fine lines? Many Thanks!

Hi! I love this mask and your website/ purpose, and I just wanted to warn you about the dangers of using apple cider vinegar on the skin. While it does temporarily balance pH and dry blemishes, it also actually damages the skin’s lipid layer, rendering it unable to retain moisture in the long run.
