The all-natural deodorant that really works

Body Personal Care

the all natural deodorant that really works

Trying to find an all-natural deodorant that really works is a little like trying to find your soul-mate online: you spend quite a bit of time and money, have a number of nay-sayers who question the value, and after a few fails are left wondering if there really is one out there that’s right for you. But just like those online dating commercials assure, yes, yes there is one out there that is just right for you! One that you fall head-over-heels in love with, one whose subtle scent brings a smile to your face, one that you can’t imagine going a day without, one that keeps you naturally odor free!

Anti-antiperspirants

Many often forget that the skin is the body’s largest organ, and the majority of whatever is put on it is absorbed into the bloodstream. Most conventional personal care products contain a wealth of chemicals that I simply do not want on my skin and in my body. Deodorant is one of them.

I’m adamantly anti-antiperspirants and proud of it! I basically shout it from the rooftops. But when I first made the switch to natural deodorants, I didn’t have to – my body odor said it loudly enough for me.

The all-natural deodorant that really works

Finding an all-natural deodorant that really works can be a real struggle. I constantly get questions for suggestions for an all-natural deodorant that really works, and until now, it’s been really hard for me to give one. Either a) I’m not comfortable suggesting a certain brand because even though it’s marketed as “natural” it still contains a number of questionable ingredients that I wouldn’t put on my own skin, or b) the brands whose product ingredients I am comfortable with haven’t worked for me.

But I’ve recently found the one.

I’ve gone primal

Primal Pit Paste is hands-down, straight-up fantastic, and for a number of reasons:

  1. It works. Not only does it work for me, but I put it through the ultimate test: I made my super-sweaty boyfriend wear it. The man has never been able to find an all-natural deodorant that worked for him, and I cringe when I say that he used to wear clinical strength antiperspirant until Primal Pit Paste came along (at long last!).
  2. The ingredients are few, simple, and safe. They include: organic arrowroot powder, organic coconut oil, organic raw shea butter, non-aluminum baking soda, organic beeswax (stick only), and essential oil for fragrance. As Primal Pit Paste puts it: “You could eat this stuff! But we suggest spreading it on your smelly pits, not your morning toast.” And remember, when it comes to personal products, you want ingredients that are safe enough to eat since your skin is basically “eating” the product.
  3. It was created with a mother’s care. Primal Pit Paste‘s creator – Amy – created the product amywhen her grade-school daughter needed to start wearing deodorant. Amy refused to let her daughter be exposed to the ingredients in conventional deodorants, but was disappointed to find that most all-natural deodorants don’t work. She was driven to create an all-natural deodorant that really works – and she did it! This mama’s passion to protect her children makes me even more confident in the safety of the product.

If you are struggling to find an all-natural deodorant that really works, or are just beginning your search, pick up Primal Pit Paste! It is simple, natural, and effective, and may very well be the one for you.

  1. It works, but not for me. I have a hard time with baking soda. Fortunately, they just came out with a formula without baking soda and I will be trying it out tomorrow. 🙂

  2. I have tried that brand before with success but am always wary of the mysterious “fragrance.” It is also not vegan friendly (I’m not vegan, but FYI for anyone who is).

  3. I don’t like the fact that the adult paste contains lavender. It isn’t good for men (specifically their “no-no’s”).

  4. Wish I felt the same! This stuff did not live up to the hype. I was a sad panda when I realized it, too!
