Valentine’s Day is just around the corner!

Have you thought about that something special you’re going to do for your someone special?

If that special someone in your life is a real foodie or natural beauty, I’ve got you covered!

4 Healthy & Indulgent Treats for Your Valentine

An All-Natural At-Home Spa Kit

Ahh nothing beats a spa day. A calming soak, a skin-smoothing scrub, a pore-purging facial. Not only are spa days relaxing, but they leave you feeling all shiny and new. But guess what? You don’t need to go to some high-end spa to relax and treat your skin — with a few products, you can help to recreate the spa experience at home for your Valentine.

To put together an all-natural, at-home spa kit, you’ll need:

Don’t forget presentation! Put all of these items in a nice bag or gift box with a little note telling your sweetie that (s)he deserves to be pampered like royalty.

BONUS POINTS: Set the stage with some calming, zen-like spa music and do some household cleaning or cook dinner while your loved one soaks away!

A Healthy Breakfast in Bed

Who doesn’t love breakfast in bed? Waking up to the smell of fresh coffee and pancakes, the sound of eggs sizzling? Eating a delicious meal all while in the comfort of your warm blankets!? It’s definitely a treat.

So this Valentine’s Day, indulge your sweetie with a healthy breakfast in bed! I’m OBSESSED with Simple Mills’ Gluten-Free pancake and waffle mix. Haven’t tried it with waffles yet, but the pancakes are soooooo moist and delicious. And unlike traditional pancake mixes which are pretty much just white flour and sugar (and so dry!!), they’re made with almond flour, providing your sweetie with protein and healthy fats to start her morning off on the right foot and keep her full until lunchtime! They of course pair perfectly with 100% pure maple syrup, like my favorite Coombs Family Farms Organic Maple Syrup. I’m talking the real deal here, my friends, not some maple-flavored high fructose corn syrup junk (ewww). I also like to put blueberries in mine for added antioxidants and flavor. So ridiculously yummy. (Did I mentioned I’m obsessed!?)

BONUS POINTS: Put on your sweetie’s favorite tunes to really help her get the day started in the best way possible!

An Assortment of Healthy Chocolate Truffles

Chocolates are such a classic Valentine’s Day gift and always sure to please! But artificial colorings, flavors, and preservatives? Not so much…

Alter Eco certified organic truffles make for a perfect alternative! They’re really the perfect balance between decadent and healthy. A mix of the Dark Chocolate Mint Truffles, Milk Chocolate Velvet Truffles, and Dark Chocolate Black Truffles would make for the perfect small yet thoughtful gift for your Valentine.

BONUS POINTS: Put the truffles in a cute little box and add a sweet note to make them that much more special.

“Homemade” and Healthy Baked Goodies

You know what they say: the true way to someone’s heart is through the stomach 🙂

Like all holidays, Valentine’s Day is a special occasion for a fun indulgence! But that indulgence doesn’t need to come with unhealthy ingredients like white flour; artificial flavors, colorings or preservatives; or any other sketchy ingredients. Simple Mills’ (yes, I do have a bit of a thing for this brand!)  Gluten-Free Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix, Gluten-Free Vanilla Cupcake & Cake Mix, and Organic Vanilla Frosting fit the bill and are my tried-and-true favorites! Seriously, if you’ve ever doubted a gluten-free cookie or cupcake can be delicious you need to grab these ASAP (actually grab at least 3 of each since I know you’ll be hooked!).

Since you have to add eggs, vanilla extract, oil, and water to the mixes, the finished product is also kinda sorta homemade. And nothing says “I love you!” like something homemade. OK so it’s not TOTALLY homemade but I won’t tell if you won’t!

Want to grab all the goods you need for the perfect, healthy Valentine’s Day in one place?

And save a little extra $ to boot!?

I picked up everything mentioned in this post from iHerb. Now I know you’ve heard me talk about iHerb before — they’re one of my favorite online stores for healthy foods and natural products. Not only do they have a huge selection of products (over 35,000!) they also have seriously amazing prices – most of the products are much cheaper than you find at your local grocery or health food store. Plus, the website’s layout makes it really simple to find what you need and learn more about the products.

iHerb’s also a Google Trusted store (which means you get free protection on your order), ships to 160 countries, and offers customer service in 10 different languages.

On top of iHerb’s already great prices, everyone can save an extra 5% when you shop through this link, and new customers can save an extra $5 off off their first purchase of $40 or more with code WELCOME5.
